A passion for inspiring outdoor environments

Founded in 2008 on the Swedish coast, Skargaarden grew from a passion for furniture design and life outdoors. The landscape, the long winters and the fleeting summers shaped our approach: to create furniture that endures, in both its materials and its expression.

Our designs bring together clean lines, thoughtful details and generous comfort. Every piece is made to feel as natural on a quiet terrace as it does beside a hotel pool or at a seaside retreat.

We work with designers from across the Nordic region, each bringing a distinct perspective to our collections. What connects them is a shared appreciation for craftsmanship, simplicity and the way furniture can make a place more inviting.

Our Design Philosophy

Rooted in Scandinavian design, our approach also draws inspiration from the clarity of American Shaker furniture and the functional thinking of the Bauhaus. We believe form, function and comfort deserve equal attention. Materials are chosen with care, details serve a purpose, and every collection is designed to remain relevant beyond a season. Our ambition is simple: to make furniture that invites people to settle in, stay a little longer and enjoy life outdoors.
